 His And Her Valentine's Cards💕

I made a his and her Valentine's cards for my daughter and son in law to give to each other for Valentines. They had asked if I would make there cards for them instead of them buying cards from the store and I said I would. I thought how fun it would be to use the same paper that had a different design on the other side. This shows you how you can make 2 different style of cards by using one sheet of paper.




 His card I used a white card base. cut at 10 inches x 6 1/2 inches. scored at 5 1/5 inches. Then I used a piece of COSTAL CABANA CARDSTOCK cut at 6 1/4 inches. Cut a piece out of the center of that just big enough to stamp and cut out your images but make sure you don't go over too far to the edge so that the top piece of paper won't be able to cover up.
Cut out a piece of DESIGNER SERIES PAPER at 6 inches by 5 5/8 inches. I took my XOXO stamp from my PAPER PUMPKIN KIT to stamp all around the top. Use Multi liquid glue and add layers down. Then I stamped out and embossed the large heart in white and the smaller heart was stamped out in BERMUDA BAY. I CUT both of the hearts out use dimensional to pop up the hearts I use some POLKA DOT TULLE RIBBON and some EMBELLISHMENSTS I had on hand. These are no longer in stock so sorry! I decorated the envelope to match.
Then on the inside I stamped and layered it with a piece of gray cardstock.



For her card I used PETAL PINK CARDSTOCK cut at 7 3/8 inches x 7 1/8 inches scored at 1 3/4 inch.
I cut 2 PEONY GARDEN DESIGNER SERIES PAPER, One panel at 2 3/8 inches x 6 7/8 inches and the other cut at 2 1/4 inches x 6 7/8 inches. Added both panels onto each side of the card. stamped and embossed with white embossing powder to make the heart images and cut them out. used Dimensionals to add them on to the front half of the card. made a bow from the PETAL PINK RIBBON used some RHINESTONES BASIC JEWELS. for the inside panel I stamped Happy Valentin's Day in Momento Black Ink and used the double heart stamp from ARRANGE A WREATH to stamp in PETAL PINK.

Making A Valentine's Card


For Today's Fun Friday Stamping I decided on making a Valentine's Card!
To make this card I used..

I used BLACKBERRY BLISS CARDSTOCK for my cardbase. I cut another cardbase in PETAL PINK CARDSTOCK to use for the inside of the card and the "Happy Valentine's Day" was die cut out and the left over was used to stamp out my image. once I had stamped it out I colored it in with colored pencils..

After coloring the image with the pencils I used the blender pen to smooth it all out.

After coloring and stamping out the balloon I took my paper snips and cut both out to place on the front of my card so it would look like it she was holding the balloon.

For the die cut words it makes it much easier if you remember to use the ADHESIVE SHEETS or if you want them to have dimension to them you can use the FOAM ADHESIVE SHEETS. This makes it much easier than trying to use glue on these.
I felt it was a bit plane looking since I didn't use any other paper on this card. so I used some RHINESTONE BASIC JEWELS and a piece of JUST JADE 2020 - 2022 DSP. I cut just a small strip for the bottom of the card up under her feet to ground her.

  The inside of the card I used the remaining Petal Pink Cardstock and stamped the balloon image again with my greeting.

Todays is a Fun Friday Stamping and a Paper Pumpkin Alternatives with the Hello Pumpkin kit All in one. I have come up with 12 cards made from the Paper Pumpkin Hello Pumpkin kit. I have 3 tutorials I will be showing you how to do in this video. All 3 tutorials are easy enough for the beginner stamper and card maker but an advanced stamper and card maker will enjoy the tutorials also. This Hello Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin kit was one of my favorite kits so far! I wish I had more time to work on it! I could have made so many more cards and projects but just did not have the time. That was why I had to combine my videos into one and it ended up being way too long with all my Paper Pumpkin alternatives in 1 video like this.
